You can view your GitHub notifications from any GitHub page. Clicking the notifications icon will produce a dropdown. (You can always click the link at the bottom to get to the full notifications page.)

  • Notifications can be marked as "read" in the normal way. (We do not mark them as "done".)
  • First shows notifications where you were mentioned, then notificataions when you are participating, then all other notifications.

I'm not sure if these features still work after GitHub's 2020 updates:

  • (Optional) Can makes files in diff views collapsible.
  • (Optional) Can change the colour of the notification dot.
