The search results are too messy? There are too many items in a list?

Use FilterAnything Now!

Action steps

  1. Move the mouse pointer to one of the items you want to filter, and press short-cut keys Ctr + Alt + a ;

  2. Then move the pointer to another item, and press the short-cut keys again, or click the left mouse button to enter Filtering Mode;

    1. >In this step, two small transparent rectangles and one big transparent rectangle will mark the recognized range of items and the list containing the items as the pointer moves, for you to check if the current item and list recognition fit your need;
    2. >When the recognition fits, you can expand the range of the list by pressing Ctrl key and move the pointer out of current list while keeping the same range of items. With this method, click the left mouse button to enter Filtering Mode;
    3. >>You can use this Ctrl key method to filter multiple lists appended by autopagerizing scripts;
    4. >before entering Filtering Mode, you can press Esc key to exit recognition;
  3. The list within Filtering Mode will be marked with outline, with a input box for filtering keywords shown at top-right corner of the list;

  4. Enter keywor(s) within the mentioned input box to filter items having the keyword(s);

    1. >Multiple keywords should be separated by a space, meaning items having all keywords would be filtered;
    2. >Adding "-" in front of a keyword to filter OUT items having this keyword;
    3. >In order to filter keyword with "-" as its first character, just add "-" in front of it. For example: to filter "-key", enter "--key";
    4. >You can enter Regular Expression quoted with "/";
  5. The list will be filtered as you enter, while showing the counts of items filtered and total items;

  6. If the input box is focused, pressing Esc key will empty the input box;

  7. If the input box isn't focused in Filtering Mode, pressing Esc key will exit Filtering Mode; clicking the "X" button beside the input box will do the same;
