--- Q/A ---
- Why do you need an API key? It’s needed to get users' event start time and Torns events list. Basic will be needed for user name in near the future - How do you store my API key? Your opened API key is stored only on your device. If you participate in TCE, encrypted API key will be sent and stored on the server. - Why do you store my API key on your server? Encrypted API key is stored to find your host and following events - How to remove all my hosted/followed events and API key from server? Just untick ‘Participate in CTE’ and all data will be removed from the server After another time to fetch data, users who followed your events will not see them anymore. - Do I need to tick ‘Participate in CTE’ on my all devices separately? Yes. The script doesn’t connect to the server until the checkbox is ticked. So you need to tick the checkbox on every device you use Torn. - How often does the script sync events? The script syncs every 30mins. - Can I sync events manually? Sure. In the settings just press sync button- Omg, this script is huge! Yeah, it’s about 350KB, where I had to embed FontAwesome icons to make custom events more individual. If anyone has an idea how to add font files (woff for example) and other css files that will work with tornPDA w/o embedding them, please contact me. I am open to suggestions and donations. I try to fix bugs and errors asap. ljovcheg [3191064]
